Elkhorn Valley Bank

Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust is committed to providing information to our customers about threats and risks that may put customer accounts at jeopardy. A risk that business customers should be aware of is Corporate Account Takeover (CATO), a form of business identity theft where cyber thieves gain control of a business' bank account by stealing employee passwords and other valid credentials. Thieves then conduct fraudulent wire and ACH transactions to accounts controlled by the thieves. To learn more about CATO and what you can do to protect your business accounts we have provided a link below to the U.S. Secret Service and FBI's joint statement on CATO.
